The Oradell-Emerson Rotary Club wants to give a big Thank you! to our own Bill Dunphy, for making Makers Day a special day for all the participants. On Saturday, March 26, Bill Dunphy of the Oradell Rotary Club held a "Build a Radio" workshop at the Oradell Library in celebration of NJ Makers Day - a state-wide event that celebrates do-it-yourself making, learning new skills, and experimentation. Makers Day emphasizes essential STEM (Science, technology, Engineering, Math) learning with an emphasis on play and having fun.The Oradell Public Library was a participating location for the 3rd straight year. As one of the participants shared, it was "Best Day Ever in Oradell!" |
