Finally...our long awaited eco cruise with the Hackensack Riverkeeper happened. A beautiful night - a fabulous boat - good food and drink - super stories from Captain Bill - and of course, great company.
Although our boat ride was  cancelled due the forecast of more storms this evening, it actually turned out to be a beautiful evening, so we made "lemonade out of the lemons" and had a lovely picnic overlooking the water watching the sunset.
We will reschedule very soon. Can't wait to return!
Join us June 24th, anytime from 9am until 1pm, and drop off donations for our food drive in the parking lot of Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell. Most Eco-Cruises include 2 ½ hours on the water and are fully narrated by either Capt. Bill or Program Director Capt. Hugh Carola – both of whom are US Coast Guard-licensed captains. The Oradell-Emerson Rotary will have a private cruise on June 21. Seats still available. Call Maria Rini 201 615 4783 to sign up.
